Have you had your lower back pain treated before and it didn't work?

Many people I help have had back pain for a long time before they see me. They've seen different therapists and their treatments either worked for a short-time and their back pain returned or it didn't work at all.

Mistake 1: You've been told you need to strengthen your core

This is false, I've helped plenty of people overcome their low back pain that already have a strong core.  

Mistake 2: You've been told you need to stretch your lower back or hamstrings

This is also incorrect because it's been shown that stretching these areas makes your low back more sensitive to pain.

Mistake 3: You've been given exercises but not been told why you’re doing them?

Reducing your lower back pain

After discovering what we need to do to reduce your pain, we start putting it into action during your rehabilitation sessions and after session support.

Improving your spine health

As your pain reduces we start adding the building blocks for a healthy spine so you reduce the chance of it coming back in the future.

I have been a specialist in Bristol helping people overcome lower back pain since 2011. I use the McGill Method and Christopher Hole Training Method as a Specialist Personal Trainer and Sports Massage Therapist.

I've also taught 1000's of Coaches and Trainers all over the UK. With over 12yrs and 20,000hrs of teaching and training experience, I want to share my tried and tested formula with you.

At the start of all coaching packages is a phone consultation, during this I learn as much about your low back pain as I can so I am able to give you the best advice, recommendations, exercises and stretches possible. This learning continues as the coaching continues because every client has their own unique needs throughout the entire coaching process.

Between coaching sessions you are able to contact me via email with your questions and queries. I am able to respond and answer these questions via email or if necessary I can answer your question or query with a personalised video tutorial.

No equipment is needed for coaching, we have a fully equipped gym and use the appropriate equipment. If you have equipment at home we are able to integrate it into your rehab iff it's suitable.

There’s no set time-frame for coaching, however the minimum is a consultation and two follow up sessions so we are able to monitor your progress.
